This project uses a layered web interface to explore the cumulative impact of online advertisements on the digital ecosystem. The design simulates a landfill's stratified structure, representing six stages in the evolution of Internet advertising. Users drag ad images to a central landfill icon to "discard" them, triggering a "digital decomposition". When the advertising images sink, they break down into small pixels and are finally left in the virtual soil. These remnants prompt viewers to reflect on the lasting effects of excessive online advertising.
