Box of Gazes investigates society's ambivalent attitude toward privacy, exploring the hidden desire to observe others and the blurred boundaries it creates. The black box and peepholes give viewers a peeping perspective, providing the illusion of control through pre-recorded videos. As viewers get closer, however, holographic eyes and monitors remind them that observation and being observed are intertwined, creating a conflict between privacy and exposure. With cameras everywhere, we are both subjects and objects of the gaze.
